| Synonyme: Amygdalus communis, Prunus dulcis. Makrophanerophyt, coll-um. Die Laubblattstiele sind so lang wie oder etwas länger als die fein gesägte Laubblattspreite. Die länglich-lanzettliche Spreite ist mehr als 2 mal so lang wie der Laubblattstiel. Die Kronblätter sind weiß, am Grund oft purpurrosa. Die Früchte sind eiförmig, ledrig und trocken.
